Semi-Review :: Terressentials Hair Wash

By  |  6 Comments

After watching a few Youtube videos, I decided to purchase the Terressentials Left Coast Lemon Pure Earth Hair Wash.   What interested me the most about the hair wash, was that it was touted as “magically” detangling your hair.  That sounded great to me, since it would eliminate a step from my routine and I’m all about that.  Now, this review is just a partial or semi-review.  I am only on day three of the hair detox, but I wanted to report about my experience so far as it relates to extremely thick hair.  Think of this as more of a warning:  If your hair is extremely thick, DO dilute the product.  The instructions that came with it said that you can dilute the hair wash to allow it to get through your hair smoother.  I did not do that the first day and I ended up using up half of the bottle…on the first day.  I just ordered some more, so that I can finish the detox.

    I was toying around with purchasing Terressentials today. I just put a big order in for new products and keep hearing about this one so I wanted to try it. The bentonite clay + aloe vera juice is a fantastic idea, and I think I just may try that instead (thanks for the tip chica!). I will be checking in to see what your reviews are for both. Great blog btw!

      Thanks! If you do the bentonite clay alternative, let me know how you like it. I will be reporting back very soon on what I have decided.

    My experience with Terressentials Pure Earth Hair wash was underwhelming. It is overpriced and overrated. You need to use a lot to coat your hair. I don’t see spending $10 to get 2 washes from the bottle. My hair is shoulder length and I had to use more than half the bottle to cover my hair. I didn’t notice any difference in my hair after using it. My homemade bentonite clay hair mask gets the job done for a lot less. Also the company does not offer any refunds or exchanges.

      Yeah, I have to agree that it is a bit pricey for not so great results. It is one bandwagon that I had to jump off of quickly. :) It just really didn’t do anything for me.
