My Vision Board for 2012
This is a little random, but I thought I would share. Last weekend, New Year’s Day, I decided to make a vision board for the year. I intended for it to be a collage on ONE poster board, but I got a little carried away with my arts and crafts and it ended up being TWO. I feel like having a visual reference of the goals that I would like to complete in 2012, will help give me a constant reminder and the motivation to get them done.
Over the past couple of years, I have felt like I have been on a path to self discovery and I have embarked on a lot of changes in my life, from a health perspective, professional prospective and a personal perspective. From this, I have grown a lot and shifted my priorities a bit. I am striving to be the best me I can possibly be. Some of the goals that I have set and included on my vision board are the following:
- Become more financially responsible and “healthy”
- Pay off my car
- Continue to get my health, both mentally and physically, in the best shape possible
- Travel more
- Get my freelance business to a place where it can comfortably support me. No more freak outs over unexpected expenses and bills.
I used magazines and pictures I found on the internet to help convey all of my goals. My motto for 2012 is going to be: Envision It. Dream It. Plan It. Live It. I have always been a believer in following dreams and I have followed mine to a certain extent, now I want to take it further and make ALL of my dreams more of a reality.
Do you have goals for 2012? If so, what are they?
