Accessories, Accessories, Accessories
As many of you may know, I love to craft. It’s something I have been doing since I was a small child. My mother always encouraged my brothers and I when it came to anything creative and the arts. Art supplies and crafts were the one thing I knew I could ask for and receive without a hassle or lecture. My mom knew that if she bought what I asked for, I would definitely use it and it wouldn’t sit in the bottom of a toy box or in the back of my closet. She often kept “staple” supplies like magnet strips, tongue depressors, pipe cleaners, crayons, markers and glue in a cabinet under the microwave for rainy days and our general pleasure.
This love of crafting has carried through into my adult years and I am constantly creating and making something new. Many of my friends have been encouraging me to start selling some of my crafts and I finally caved in and opened a store on Etsy. We’ll see how this goes…
For now, the accessories that are available for sale, are winter related. Why? Because the cold is coming and I hate the cold. Winter and I aren’t really that good of friends. As a matter of fact, we aren’t’ even on speaking terms. So in preparation for our upcoming battle of wills, I have been making battle gear, -aka- scarves, mittens and ear warmers. All items are one of a kind, as in I only made one of that particular color/style. Once they are gone, they are gone. So get ‘em while they are hot…er, cold?
